Sirius University of Science and Technology is the youngest and fastest-growing university in Russia, implementing a qualitatively new approach to education and research activities. Sirius University of Science and Technology was established on July 1, 2019 by the “Talent and success” Educational Foundation. The President of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

From October 7 to 12, 2024, the university will host the XXII Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry, which will be one of the main events dedicated to the 190th anniversary of D.I. Mendeleev and the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

We invite you to participate in the conference «International Youth workshop of Medicinal Chemistry», which will be held from October 5 to 10, 2024, at Sirius University of Science and Technology. The language of the Scientific School is English.

As part of the Сonference, you will have an opportunity to listen to lectures by leading experts in the field of Medicinal Chemistry of the Russian Federation, participate in scientific seminars and report on your scientific research.

In the final days of the Сonference program, participants will take part in the Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry within the framework of the XXII Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry. The best participants of the Сonference will have an opportunity to present their scientific report at the Symposium.

Terms and Conditions of participation: student or postgraduate status (bachelor’s/ master’s/ specialist degree/ post-graduate student).
1. Submit a motivation letter (briefly express your ambitions and aspirations on participation in the Сonference).
2. Write a one-page essay (A4 paper size) on the topic “What discoveries in Medicinal Chemistry over the past 10 years have changed the world?”

Based on the results of the competitive selection, 60 participants will be invited to the Сonference. The host will cover accommodation (double occupancy) and meals.
