The Symposium f-Block elements: Recent Advances and Challenges will be an integral part of the XXII Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry. The Symposium is aimed to unite prominent scientists to explore the latest trends and breakthroughs in the field of f-block elements chemistry.

- computational studies in Ln and An complexation and solid state chemistry;
- non-conventional metal-ligand bonding;
- chemistry behind lanthanide / minor actinide separations;
